About Us

Eight connected departments and 52 attending specialists, on one campus in Medical City since 2001.

Since 2001

Twenty-five years, one campus

MediCare Hospital opened in Medical City in 2001 with three departments and a single operating theatre. Twenty-five years and one campus expansion later, we run eight connected departments from the same site — most patients still see the same billing desk and the same records system regardless of which specialist they’re visiting.

  • 8 connected departments, one shared record
  • In-house imaging, lab, and pharmacy on site
  • 52 attending specialists, all board-certified
  • Emergency and critical care staffed every shift

What guides a diagnosis here

Three habits, not a mission statement.

Second opinion, always

Every complex case is reviewed by a second specialist before treatment begins — not just when a patient asks for one.

One file, every specialist

Records move with you between departments, so a neurologist can see what your cardiologist already ruled out.

Equipment retested, not just replaced

Diagnostic equipment is recalibrated quarterly and fully replaced on a five-year cycle, whichever comes first.

The trauma team met the ambulance at the door. I didn't fill out a single form until the next morning.
